Own Your Shame

I have a burning desire in my heart to help human beings reach their full potential.  I believe through awareness we create change... so... I started hosting events to talk about edgy subjects.

During my first event, A Woman in a Man’s World, we heard from an all-female panel of business leaders.  At the second event we got to hear from both the women and the men so we could gain both perspectives on the issues of equality, stereotypes and social stigmas.

As we were sharing, it became clearer to me... we all experience SHAME and judgment.  I believe to be free, happy AND to reach our potential, we need to LET GO of the PAST! For this reason I am speaking up.

I'm pretty sure we have ALL done things in our past that we are not proud of, maybe even ashamed of.

For me, my most shameful experience happened in university, over 15 years ago!

I chose to strip.

I never spoke up publicly until now.  I was afraid of being judged for a decision that was right for me.

For my next event on Oct. 5th I’m going a little deeper.  I believe for us to reach our full potential, we need to TALK about things like fear, shame, guilt and judgment—the real blocks that are holding us back... AND... break through old stereotypes, stigmas and past conditioning that are keeping all of us stuck.

We hope that by talking about how we let go of judging ourselves and others, how we face our fear and break free of feeling shamed, it will empower you to do the same.

It is our intent that this evening be a REALOPEN and ENGAGING discussion.

We hope you learn how to:

• let go of judgements you hold against yourself and others
• be bold and empowered in the face of shame
• evolve as a leader

Live Life on Your Terms!

We have ALL done something in our past that has been holding us back. In my next post, I will share more of my story with you.  I hope that by me sharing it will inspire and encourage you to let go of what may be stopping you.

The world needs your unique contribution. What you are ashamed of will only hold you back.

I believe we can ALL be great leaders, regardless of what you did in your past.
